The History of OpenStack
OpenStack, a popular cloud software delivering scalable cloud operating system, has gone a long way from the day it was launched in July 2010 with source code from NASA and Rackspace, along with the support from 25 organizations. On its first year, OpenStack has grown from 42 participating organizations and 95 developers to 80 participating organizations and 1,200 developers (plus 217 registered contributors.) 7 months has passed since the first birthday, OpenStack shows no sign of slowing down.
