A Hurricane can Take Down the Cloud!

Recently, there are series of cloud outages – Amazon AWS, Microsoft’s Azure, Twitter, and so on. Many – if not most – of the cloud outages are caused by force majeur. The latest bad weather conditions – especially hurricanes – have disrupt cloud services many times.

As storms are highly probably a more frequent occurrence in the near future, it’s important for us who live and work in the cloud to understand the consequences: More service disruptions.
