According to Techvibes, Canada is the world’s leader in internet usage and online social networking. It is surprising that Canadians are being cautious about cloud computing trends. Or perhaps because of Canadians are knowledgeable about the benefits AND the risks of cloud computing, so cloud computing adoption by businesses are somewhat conservative?

On this Techvibes cloud computing infographic, we can learn that only 47 percent of Canadian businesses are actively using the cloud, way below the USA (70 percent,) UK (68 percent,) and Germany (61 percent.) The primary causes might be the security concerns (like what I have mentioned above) and the lack of understanding about the concept of cloud computing.
